Queen Beatrix abdicates, King Willem-Alexander succeeds Dutch throne

Queen Beatrix, whose infectious smile and warm personality endeared her not only to her subjects, but also the entire world, abdicated today. His eldest son, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander succeeds to the Dutch throne. He is the Netherlands' first king since 1890.
The Mail Online reports that the former queen was rather "emotional" as she passed her throne to her eldest son before thousands of adoring subjects that "poured on to the streets of Amsterdam to welcome their first king in more than 100 years."
The 46-year-old king clutched his mother's hand after each has placed their signatures on the instrument of abdication at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.

Duchess blooms in blue dress at the National Portrait Gallery

The baby bump's showing off, but the Duchess of Cambridge just fits in her would-be mom role. In the photos (borrowed from Mail Online) features the glamorous Duchess wearing a 50s styled cocktail dress designed by Emilia Wickstead. Kate was attended the National Portrait Gallery to celebrate the work of Art Room. The Duchess firmly believed that art could do so much to make a difference. The Art Room, in fact, helps poor school children by giving lessons in drawing, painting and modeling. The Art Room is one of the very first charities that Duchess of Cambridge supported since marrying into the Royal Family. Visit Mail Online for more stunning photos of Lovely Kate.

The book also includes intimate “information about her life before she married Crown Prince Felipe in 2004.”
Rocasolano claimed that Princess Letizia had the abortion in 2002 before she met the Prince. A former divorcee, she used to work as a broadcaster. He revealed that the Prince and Princess themselves requested him to destroy the paperworks detailing the abortion.
“The abortion is alleged to have taken place at a time when terminations were still illegal in Spain - unless there was abnormality or the mother's life or mental …
