Prince of Wales attends event for hospital food; Duchess of Cornwall meets with Shetland Pony Club and attends charity for homeless; Princess Royal opens home for war veterans. 


The Prince of Wales attended reception for Champions of Hospital Food, December 15 at Clarence House, the prince's official residence, in London. The event was sponsored by the Soil Association, where the heir to the throne was the patron and aimed to feed hospital patients throughout the country. 


Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cornwall, met the members of the Shetland Pony Club, December 15, at the London International Horse Show. The duchess was patron of the British Equestrian Federation. The duchess also attended the homelessness charity Emmaus in Greenwich, London, December 14, where she was patron of the Emmaus UK. 


The Princess Royal officially opened the Albare's Home for Veterans in Bristol December 14. The home serves  eight former servicemen and provides them home and opportunity to enhance skills which help live independent lives.
